Description
This course teaches basic first-aid skills for low-risk environments. While it does not meet HSE regulations for first aiders in the workplace, it is an excellent way to gain basic knowledge and understanding of handling different medical emergencies. No prior first aid knowledge is needed to attend this course.

Course content:
➢ Primary Survey
➢ Treatment of an unresponsive casualty
➢ Choking
➢ Severe Bleeds and Shock
➢ Seizures and Head Injuries
➢ Chest Pains
➢ CPR with AED Demonstration
Assessment:
Continuous observation by the trainer.
Certification:
Successful candidates receive a St John Ambulance certificate, valid for three years.
