Description
On this course you’ll be taught what to do when initially faced with an emergency and how to react when dealing with the common bumps and bruises sustained by children and infants.

Course content:
➢ The primary survey
➢ Unresponsive children and infants
➢ Minor bleeding
➢ Child and infant resuscitation (CPR)
➢ Burns
➢ Bites, stings, and allergies
➢ Fever and febrile convulsions
Assessment:
Continuous observation by the trainer.
Certification:
Successful candidates receive a St John Ambulance certificate, valid for three years.
