Moving and Handling People Alderney Ambulance


Manual handling, work involving awkward or tiring positions, and repetitive positions when moving or handling people are the main activities cited for causing work-related musculoskeletal disorders such as back and joint pain. This three-hour course provides essential support for all employees and helps employers to meet the requirements placed on them by manual handling regulations.

➢ Types of injury associated with poor manual handling


Successful candidates receive a St John Ambulance certificate, valid for one year.
