Course content:
ā¢ Primary Survey
ā¢ Treatment of an unresponsive casualty ā adult/child
ā¢ Resuscitation ā adult/child
ā¢ Bleeding ā minor/severe
ā¢ Bone, muscle and joint
ā¢ Heat and cold extremes
ā¢ Chest pains
ā¢ Head Injuries
ā¢ Shock
Assessment:
Continuous observation by the trainer.
Certification:
Successful candidates receive a St John Ambulance certificate, valid for three years.
