Description
This focused course is an excellent way to gain basic knowledge and understanding of how to handle different medical emergencies in a sports environment. No prior first aid knowledge is needed to attend.

Les Cotils, 6:00pm – 9:00pm

Course content:
➢ Primary Survey
➢ Treatment of an unresponsive casualty – adult/child
➢ Resuscitation – adult/child
➢ Bleeding – minor/severe
➢ Bone, muscle and joint
➢ Heat and cold extremes
➢ Chest pains
➢ Head Injuries
➢ Shock
Assessment:
Continuous observation by the trainer.
Certification:
Successful candidates receive a St John Ambulance certificate, valid for three years.
